Version: 1.0
Effective date: 17 June 2026
Operator: swhouse s.r.o., ID No. 29563160, registered office at plukovníka Mráze 1190/10, Praha – Hostivař, 102 00 (hereinafter "operator").
1. Our position: zero tolerance
1.1 GatherApp enforces zero tolerance for any content, behaviour or activity related to child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"). This includes, in particular, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual extortion ("sextortion"), child trafficking, and the promotion or facilitation of such acts.
1.2 These standards are binding on all users of the GatherApp application and the website at gatherapp.today. Any breach leads to immediate account termination, content removal, and — where required by law — reporting to law enforcement.
1.3 GatherApp is an adults-only platform for discovering and organising real-life events. The minimum age for registration is 18 years. The service is not intended for minors.
2. Prohibited content and behaviour
2.1 The following is strictly prohibited on GatherApp:
- uploading, sharing, distributing or storing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, videos, drawings, computer-generated imagery (CGI), animations, deepfakes or text describing such acts;
- contacting a minor for the purpose of sexual abuse, exploitation or grooming;
- requesting, offering or threatening to disclose intimate content of minors ("sextortion");
- organising, promoting, facilitating or participating in child trafficking or the sexual exploitation of children;
- using the app to create events, profiles or messages that sexualise minors, or to contact minors for any sexual purpose;
- sharing links, contacts or redirects to CSAE content hosted outside the app;
- creating accounts for minors (under 18 years of age) or impersonating a minor.
3. In-app safety measures
3.1 Age requirement. Registration in GatherApp requires confirmation of an age of at least 18 years. If false age information is suspected, the operator may require verification and, failing that, block the account. Accounts identified as belonging to minors will be terminated without delay.
3.2 Reporting content and users. Every profile, event and message in the app includes a "Report" function that lets users alert the operator to suspicious behaviour, CSAE content or any breach of these standards. Reports may also be sent by email (see section 5).
3.3 Blocking and restrictions. Users can block anyone, preventing all communication and interaction. A blocked user loses access to the profile and the ability to send messages.
3.4 Moderation. The operator combines proactive automated checks (e.g. known CSAM hash detection, keyword detection, behavioural analysis) with reactive human moderation of reports. Reports are reviewed as quickly as possible; suspected CSAM is acted on immediately.
3.5 Sanctions. Upon a confirmed breach, the operator will:
- immediately remove the offending content;
- permanently terminate the user's account with no possibility of restoration;
- preserve evidence for the duration strictly necessary for proceedings;
- report the incident to the relevant authorities under section 4 below.
4. Cooperation with authorities and reporting obligations
4.1 The operator acts in compliance with applicable Czech and international legislation, in particular:
- Act No. 40/2009 Coll., Criminal Code (Section 192 — production and other handling of child pornography, Section 193 — abuse of a child for the production of pornography, Section 201 — endangering a child's upbringing, Section 202 — solicitation of sexual intercourse);
- Act No. 141/1961 Coll., Criminal Procedure Code (reporting obligations);
- Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, DSA);
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) regarding the protection of personal data of victims and reporters.
4.2 Suspected CSAE is reported by the operator to the Czech Police and, where relevant, to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, USA) via the CyberTipline and to the INHOPE partner hotline for the Czech Republic — Stop Online (stoponline.cz).
4.3 The operator provides law enforcement with the cooperation required by law and preserves relevant records and evidence for the period strictly necessary, but no longer than required by legislation.
5. Designated contact for child safety (CSAE)
5.1 The following email address is designated for questions, reports and communication on child safety and CSAE:
CSAE contact: safety@gatherapp.today
Reply within 72 hours on business days. Urgent reports are prioritised.
5.2 If a child is in immediate danger, contact the Czech Police on 158 or the European emergency line 112 immediately. Suspected child abuse can also be reported anonymously via the Linka bezpečí helpline on 116 111, via stoponline.cz, or — internationally — via the NCMEC CyberTipline.
6. Training and prevention
6.1 The operator regularly trains its team to recognise CSAE risks, grooming and sextortion, and keeps internal response procedures up to date. External contractors and moderators undergo the same basic training before being deployed in moderation workflows.
6.2 We recommend the following resources for help and prevention:
- Linka bezpečí — 116 111, linkabezpeci.cz (help for children and young people under 18);
- Stop Online — stoponline.cz (anonymous reporting of illegal content);
- Bezpečně online — bezpecnenainternetu.cz (awareness and prevention);
- NCMEC CyberTipline — report.cybertip.org (international reporting).
7. How to report CSAE content
7.1 If you encounter CSAE-related content in the app or on the website:
- do not share it further and do not save it to your device;
- use the "Report" function directly on the profile, event or message in the app;
- or email safety@gatherapp.today with a link to the profile/event and a short description;
- if a child is in immediate danger, call 158 or 112.
7.2 The operator protects the identity of reporters. Reporter data is shared only to the extent strictly necessary for cooperation with law enforcement or where required by law.
8. Revisions
8.1 The operator may update these standards from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, recommended industry practices and operational findings. The current version is always available at gatherapp.today/en/child-safety.
8.2 Users will be notified of substantial changes in-app or by email.
